Hartley Village Action Plan - Have Your Say

Hartley has joined the growing list of local villages to produce it's own village plan. The inaugural meeting has been held and ten residents of Hartley volunteered to act as a committee for this project.

The action plan will be a statement of how our village community sees itself developing over the next few years.

  • It will reflect the views of all sections of the community.
  • It will identify which features and local characteristics you value.
  • It will tell how residents want our community to develop.
  • It will identify local problems and opportunities and develop a plan of action to achieve this vision.

The views of the whole community must be incorporated in the village action plan. Schools, churches, businesses and clubs represent part of the community. Your views are essential to ensure such services as bus, social and medical services are provided to meet your needs.

The Parish Plan Steering Committee is a group of volunteers, representing a cross section of Hartley, dedicated to giving voice when decisions are being made that affect our community.
